컨템포러리 아트북 도도스는 국내외 현대 미술작가들의 최신작을 소개하는 비정기 간행물로 년 2회 발행될 예정이다.
도도스는 최근 미술계에서 주목 받고 있는 팝아티스트, 포토그래퍼, 일러스트레이터들의 작품을 폭넓게 보여주는 것이 특징이다. 기존의 잡지들이(혹은 단행본이) 순수미술과 일러스트 그리고 사진을 장르별로 인위적인 구분을 지어 영역을 분리 하려는 경향이 있다고 한다면 도도스는 현대의 문맥과 감성에 맞는 여러 작품들을 탈 장르화 시켜 새로운 경향을 제시 하고자 한다. 또한 구성면에서 텍스트를 최소화하고 이미지를 부각시키는 편집방식으로써 작가들의 작업 자체의 내포된 주제를 독자들이 직접 느껴볼수 있도록 구성 한 시각예술전문 단행본이다.
Contemporary artbook Dodos covers latest work of modern artist, inside and outside of the country, and plans to publish twice a year.
The best feature of Dodos is the wide introduction(pop-artist, photographer and illustrator etc) of public attention artists. Existing magazines artificially separates domains. It separates fine art and photographs etc. Unique part of Dodos is it presents stylish contexts with sensibility which is out of regular genre. And by doing that it presents a new trend. Also Dodos intends to minimize texts and maximize images to give the reader the direct feelings of art.
